RE: lost the toad

checked mine just the other day...found one bolt missing and the plate was loose....took to shop and was told it looked like that one bolt was never installed....another lesson for me about a rv dealer that charged me but didn't do what i paid for...i spent alot of money at one rv dealer only to find out (later) that everything they did was either done wrong or not done at all....and that is frome the toilet seal(installed with the cardboard still taped over the sealing surface) to the slide out rams that he charged me for and never installed...(when i went somewhere else to check why leaking found out the orginal rams were still on the coach...serial numbers and all)

RE: Laurel or Hattiesburg, Mississippi Campgrounds

i live in purvis right outside of h'burg and enjoy both pb johnson (i like the straight away loop) and little black creek...the sites by the checkin and boat launch are great with a wood deck overlooking the lake. just got back from a week at pbj and had a real good time just doing nothing.

RE: Bad Water at CG

Using bottled water for cooking and drinking and bathing with the "poor quality" is one way as stated. You will have to completely sanitize your fresh water system when you return including the fresh water tank in case of any minute leakage from a check valve. If you are due to sanitize your system anyway it will be a good incentive to do it. This is the start of a 4 month road trip...so guess we will not hook up to their water at all....use the shower house and drink and cook with bottled water...better safe than sorry...would hate to be fighting bacteria for the next 4 months...

RE: Bad Water at CG

how long are you going to be there? can you just use your water out of your fresh water tank instead? that's what I would do. use a hose outside for the "dirty" tasks. bumpy we are going to be there 5 nights

Bad Water at CG

We are going to Paul B Johnson Sp in Mississippi on Thrusday and just got a call from them about their water not meeting the health dept standards, so to bring drinking water with us. Would you even hook up your water hose to their system or live off of the tank and bottle water???

RE: dealership question

I saw one dealer in Ms. that would do warr. work but if someone with a coach that was bought there came in they would pull ur coach out to work on it and maybe not get back to yours for a week or two

RE: Trip cut short (long read)

I have a 2002 winn cheiftian and the hydrulic leaks were there after I had one company change out my rams for the main slide. I took the rv to paw paws camper city and they started fixing the leaks. While going in and out with the slide it stopped and would not go in and the jacks would not go down to the ground either. They found the ground wire broken at the frame. Working great now. Cudos to paw paws for finding the prob and thank you God for letting it happen in the shop and not on the road..

RE: Is it too early to get Dig.TV Converter?

per the makers of the batwing ant for rvs...there are no diff in the convertor boxes because the gov said what they could or could not do. and yes they do work now and are worth the money...still prob. though u must have one for each tv or else e1 in the rv or stick house has to watch the same thing.

RE: Recycling??

Just for info...in San Destin...Destin....all recycleing is done at the land field....Most State parks recycle but that is because of all the state cutbacks on their budgets and they use the money for special projects ... so if staying at a State Park that does please do...I beleive it really helps all of us.
